SERVER RULES

1. RUNNING

As the 1stMSOB style of gameplay is TACTICAL and the basis for movement is in the CROUCH position, the following exceptions are allowed as specified. Running is only allowed in situations of combat where it would be effectively employed in a real life scenario. These are to include situations such as:

* Evading enemy fire
* Evading an enemy grenade
* Crossing open areas that have no cover or concealment. This is for 2 to 3 SECONDS MAXIMUM. Abusing the running rule will get you WARNED, KICKED or BANNED .

There is NEVER to be any running while inside buildings except very briefly when avoiding enemy nades, nor is there to be any running to get back into the firefight! We CROUCH in these areas because in a real life scenario, running through these areas would be unrealistic. In most cases running would cause you to get yourself, or more importantly, your team killed.

NO RUNNING AND GUNNING....PERIOD


2. WALKING WITH SIGHTS UP/AIMING

You may WALK as long as you have your SIGHTS UP and it is to be kept to a minimum. If you drop your sights, continue to walk and shoot someone while you are walking, you are and will be considered RUNNING and GUNNING which will get you WARNED, KICKED or BANNED . However, one may shoot while in the PRONE or STANDING positions without consequence.


3. JUMPING

Jumping from 2nd story heights or greater, in effect causing you to take damage, is PROHIBITED. In a real life scenario, your team would be stuck carrying your body to assault the objective or defend the home front. Such actions will not be tolerated. Jumping (BUNNY HOPPING) to avoid fire is also PROHIBITED.


4. SPAWN KILLING/TEAM KILLING

We DO NOT SPAWN KILL or TEAM KILL. Any player exhibiting these actions will get a WARNING. If the warning is not heeded, the player(s) will be KICKED or BANNED. If the enemy continues spawning in front of you, you must retreat without shooting the spawning player(s) while allowing them time to find cover. If you SPAWN CAMP, you will be KICKED or BANNED.
If a player spawns in the very close vicinity of the opposing team and kills a player immediately out of spawn, he is guilty of reverse spawn killing/camping and will suffer the same repromand and/or removal from the game. DO NOT TAKE UNFAIR ADVANTAGE OF AN UNCONTROLABLE SITUATION!
If a player kills a member of his own team, they MUST TYPE an APOLOGY on the game screen.

Invisible spawn is NEVER to be used as a WEAPON, it is there to be used as a AID to FIND cover. There is NEVER to be any RUNNING whilst under invisible spawn, NOR is it to be used as a advantage to sneak up on the opposing team and kill/knife them!

5. THE USE OF CHEATS/HACKS

ANYONE CAUGHT USING NON SANCTIONED AIDS, CHEATS OR HACKS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY AND PERMANENTLY BANNED WITHOUT WARNING AND WITHOUT APPEAL!

If you suspect a player of hacking, you MUST notify a 1stMSOB member in PRIVATE. NEVER publicly accuse a player of cheating as it MUST be documented and witnessed by a 1stMSOB Officer/Admin.


6. DEROGATORY/DEFAMATORY/PROFANE/SEXUAL/RACIST/DRUG RELATED LANGUAGE

Any racist, derogatory, defamatory, profane, sexually explicit/implied language or drug related references is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. We are a family based clan with family based servers and, therefore, require the language to be kept clean and appropriate for all age groups. Also, NO ABBREVIATIONS WITH PROFANE INNUENDO are allowed. Any language pertaining to DRUG USE is considered INAPPROPRIATE and WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. The PERCEPTION of a comment or statement and NOT how it may have been meant WILL BE the basis for our judgement to WARN, KICK or BAN a player.

ANY GUEST WITH A NAME THAT REFLECTS THE NAME OF AN ILLEGAL DRUG, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA OR IT'S USE WILL BE REQUIRED TO CHANGE THEIR NAME. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ANY NAME THAT IS RACIST/DEFAMATORY/PROFANE OR GENERALLY INAPPROPRIATE. THE PLAYER WILL BE TOLD TO CHANGE THEIR NAME SO AS TO CONFORM WITH OUR RULES OR THEY WILL BE KICKED OR BANNED.

7. TEAMSPEAK

As a member playing on any 1stMSOB server, you are REQUIRED to use Teamspeak.

TeamSpeak Rules

Our Server has members of VARIOUS age groups.

The rules are:
1.As we are a family based clan, the use of EXPLITIVES or CURSING MUST BE CONTROLLED. BE AWARE of who is in the channel and always try to KEEP YOUR LANGUAGE IN CHECK.
2.Please make sure you are in the CORRECT game server channel at ALL times.
3.RESPECT members and guests at ALL times.
4.As a 1stMSOB clan MEMBER You are REQUIRED to ALWAYS use TeamSpeak when in game.

If you break the Rules, you can EXPECT some form of the following:

1. A WARNING as to what rule(s) is/are being broken.
2. Adminstrative action of some sort.
3. Being "kicked" from the channel for a 5 min cool down.
4. Being "kicked" from TeamSpeak.
5. Being "Permanently Banned" from TeamSpeak. *

* If you feel that you have been wrongly banned, please post your objection in the "Ban Appeal" forum.

Your request will be processed ONLY if you have a specified Clan Member who recommends you for use of our TeamSpeak. It may take up to 2 weeks to respond to your request, so please be PATIENT.
In ALL cases, we look at your game/teamchat when you play and if you follow/support the Server rules.

We will send you a Private Message (PM) with the password once your request is approved.

WebSite Rules

We appreciate you actively being involved with our wesbite. In all cases, you must be a registered user to access forums, stats, etc. Some Forums are restricted to Clan Members.

The fundamental rule is:

1.NO obscene/abusive/derogatory/offensive posts of ANY kind.

People from all different ages and background visit our site and we want them to feel WELCOME!

If you break the Rules, you can EXPECT some form of the following:

1. A WARNING as to what rule(s) are being broken.
2. Being "Temp Banned" from the Website for a time of 1 week.
3. Being "Permanently Banned" from the Website. *
